In honour of Labor Day, a big shout-out to all the Fauna volunteers and staff who work so hard and are truly dedicated to the residents they care for. This is Derek–or at least his shoulder–and the gorgeous ink is the face of  Jean, a gentle and loving soul that passed away at Fauna on January 1, 2007. She was 31. It was drawn by tattoo artist Kim Saigh, formerly of LA Ink, who did a wonderful job of capturing Jeannie’s essence-she even features her in her on-line tattoo portfolio. Thank’s for all the hard work Derek, and for keeping Jean with us.
